just for fun…

It’s a while since I’ve updated by blog and well it’s been a busy time…

I’ve managed to squeeze a little recreational time in amongst the work and  just wanted to share some of my photographs that I took a couple of weeks ago. We went to Castle Howard and had a great time, the play area is a treat for children and adults alike, trees were climbed by Grandmas, slides were whizzed down by big people and swings were swung, which was a joy to see, witness and join in!

Amongst all this frivolity there were some  also some very quiet things just growing all around us in the form of fantastic fungi; big, little, coloured, slimy, flat, thin, hidden and downright flashy, all for our joy! So the Canon was at my side and pics were snapped. I am particularly please with this little beauty, as the colour of the mushroom is stunning and I was quite pleased with the shot and composition! Anyway here it is for your enjoyment…
